Corvette Track Time @ Petrolhead Sunday 2016 op Circuit Zolder

Voor de eerste maal organiseert NPCC in samenwerking met CET, 1 uur (2 x 30 min) vrij rijden op het Circuit van Zolder.

Deze dag wordt op zondag 4 september 2016 georganiseerd.

Toegelaten deelnemers:
- Alle leden van NPCC
- Alle andere Corvettes (andere clubs of personen)
- In principe Corvette only

Kosten:
- 1 uur tracktime: 1 auto + 1 piloot = 100€ (niet NPCC leden)
- 1 uur tracktime: 1 auto + 1 piloot = 80€ (NPCC leden)
- 1 co-piloot = 20€/persoon
- Ontbijt = 20€/persoon
- Aperitief + 3 gangen lunch = 45€ /persoon

- 3 gangen lunch, keuze uit:

Menu 1 - Vis:
- Oosterse scampi met curry
- Gebakken zalmfilet met parmaham en mozzarella
- Huisgemaakte chocolademousse

Menu 2 - Vlees:
- Rundscarpaccio van Belgisch blauw-wit
- Mechelse koekoek met gekarameliseerd witloof
- Tiramisu

Noot: dranken bij de menu zijn NIET inbegrepen en dienen apart afgerekend te worden


Timing:
- 09u00 Ontbijt
- 11u00 Briefing verplicht voor de piloten
- 11u30 Naar de auto's
- 12u00 Track time
- 12u30 Pause
- 13u00 Track time
- 13u30 Einde Track time
- 14u00 Aperitief
- 14u30 Lunch

Om het voor iedereen zo veilig mogelijk te houden, volgende aandachtspunten:
- Helm verplicht voor piloot en co-piloot
- Veiligheidsgordel verplicht
- Géén alcohol vóór of tijdens track time
- Enkel links voorbij steken
- Niet voorbij steken in de bochten (geen race)
- Opgepast met uitremmen van andere wagen voor de bochten
- Briefing is verplicht (11 uur in Brasserie De Pits)


Omdat Circuit rijden toch wel wat extra van de wagen vraagt, volgende technische tips:
- Remolie: tot maximum en niet ouder dan 1 jaar (bij voorkeur dot 5.1)
- Remblokjes: voldoende voering op de blokskes
- Motorolie: tot maximum bijgevuld
- Koelwater: tot maximum bijgevuld
- Voor maximale koeling, airco condensor (staat vóór radiator) reinigen.

For the firt time organises NPCC in cooperation with CET, 1 hour (2 x 30 min) free driving on
the Race track of Zolder.

This day is organised on Sunday September 4th 2016.

Allowed participants:
- All members of NPCC
- All other Corvettes (from other clubs or individuals)
- In principal Corvette only

Cost:
- 1 hour track time: 1 car + 1 pilot = 100€ (non NPCC members)
- 1 hour track time: 1 car + 1 pilot = 80€ (NPCC members)
- 1 co-pilot = 20€/person
- Breakfast = 20€/person
- Aperitif + 3 course lunch = 45€ /person

Menu 1 - Fish:
- Eastern scampi with curry
- Baked salmon filet with Parma ham and Mozzarella
- Home made chocolat mousse

Menu 2 - Meat:
- Beef carpaccio of Belgian blue-white
- Mechelse koekoek with caramelized chicory
- Tiramisu

Note: drinks at the menu are NOT included and must be paid separately

In order to keep it safe for everybody, please pay attention to following points::
- Helmet mandatory for pilot and co-pilot
- Carring Safety belt is mandatory
- No alcohol before or during track time
- Only overtaking from the left hand side
- Do not overtake in the curves (no race)
- Be careful with outbreaking other cars for cornering
- Briefing is mandatory (at 11 o’clock in Brasserie The Pits)


Because track time requires a bit extra from the car… some technical tips:
- Brake fluid: up to maximum and not older than 1 year (preferably dot 5.1)
- Brake pads: sufficient lining on the brake pads
- Motor oil: filled up to the maximum
- cooling water: filled up to the maximum
- For maximum cooling, clean the airco condenser (located in front of the radiator
